Definitions of Types and Classes of Argentine Wheat

        TYPES:

Hard wheat;    Soft Wheat;    Durum Wheat;     Feed Wheat.

               CLASSES   of Hard Wheat:

TDA 1 Superior  (Trigo Duro Argentino 1 Superior)

This is defined by varieties from Group 1; in three protein bands:

                      10.5-11.5%; 11.6-12.5%; and above 12.5%.

TDA 2 Especial   ( Trigo Duro Argentino 2 Especial)

This is defined by varieties from Group 1 and 2 in three protein bands:

                      10-11%; 11.1-12% and above 12%.

TDA 3 Standard  ( Trigo Duro Argentino 3 Standard )

This is defined as varieties from Group 3 in two protein bands: 10-11%

                       and 11-12%.

These classes are subdivided into three regions:  North, South-east and

                       South west.

In every case,  the minimum level of protein is to assure its functionality. These levels of protein are only for this effect and do not involve any form of price bonification.  Price bonification may exist in particular contracts that establish a particular protein level within a class.
